2009 Summer TEAM Speed Training Program

It’s the first week of the month and just 3 weeks away from the official start of the summer. Of course, its also 8-weeks away from the start of the pre-season for your championship year. Better than halftime when you give the speech that the score is “Zero – Zero” and its time to finish the game strong! Coach Paterno used to always say, “You’re never as good as your last win – and you’re never as bad as your last lost.” As champions, super bowl contenders, pro-bowlers, all-stars, and scholarship athletes…its unanimous that you don’t reach the top or get the awards without starting in the “OFF-SEASON” when the training is 10 times tougher than the actual practice and easier during the games. I am inviting you to allow our organization, Philadelphia Sports Training Center to provide your team with the premiere top strength & conditioning program throughout the summer to keep your guys motivated for the upcoming season.

The benefits to you and your coaching staff are limitless, but to start:
1. Spend quality time with you family. Not thinking about if the team is going to be ready for the upcoming season. Or if guys are going to be academically eligible. Enjoy time with your wife, your girlfriend, your children, or just take a vacation because you deserve it.

2. Know that your players are participating in a professional strength and conditioning program as prepared for professional athletes that they can do with high intensity. Our program is designed for your athletes sport, position, ability, and strength development

3. Your player, no matter their background, they will be out of trouble and in the presence of mentors that utilize sports training to metaphor the importance of academics as much as the impact of athletics. Think about this…if the players know they have practice “everyday” – then shouldn’t they read a book, study a chapter, or prepare for tests everyday they are in school? Then it should be reinforced to be just as important. Academics should be instilled by the parents – but as coaches its our responsibility to reinforce those values…if the players don’t have those values – then that is being instilled by the coaches. We also teach athletes the “Keys to Athletic Success” which explains what they should know and do to be a top level athlete.

The training program begins on June 22nd and your team can choose between two of our locations, either at our 80,000 square foot facility in Aston, PA or with our partner Temple University – Main Campus. The training times can start as early as 6am and each session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes, pending location. Sessions per week are 3 times per week between Monday through Friday. We have 2 – 6 certified coaches available that are former collegiate football players and two former NFL players.

This 8-week training program can only benefit your team, your school, and help improve the quality of life of your student-athletes. Contact PSTC to schedule a presentation or to sign your team up.
